Athena Money is the Moonriver network’s first ever algorithmic stablecoin protocol. The protocol's mechanism algorithmically adapts $OWL’s supply in order to keep it pegged to the price of $MOVR.

Inspired by the original idea behind Basis, bDollar, Soup, and its predecessors, [Athenamoney.org](https://www.athenamoney.org/) is a multi-token protocol which consists of the following three tokens:

* Owl ($OWL);
* Owl Shares ($OSHARE);
* Owl Bonds ($OBOND).

The Athena team will maintain a focus on innovation around enhanced functionality and use cases.
